About The Program
Students pursuing the Master of Science (M.Sc) in Zoology at TPS College engage in an in-depth study of animal biology, exploring subjects such as ecology, genetics, physiology, taxonomy, and wildlife conservation. Under the mentorship of experienced faculty with significant research contributions in various zoological fields, students gain a blend of theoretical knowledge and hands-on research experience through fieldwork and laboratory studies.
The department of Zoology promotes discovery and learning at all levels of biological organizations. Our integrative focus reflects the importance of strong disciplinary and inter-disciplinary approaches and teaching. We strive for excellence and synergy in our coordinated programs of teaching, research and service. Recognizing essential roles of science and biology in lives of citizen today and tomorrow. We emphasize biological literacy in our teaching and outreach programs for the development of social awareness.
